🥐 Birds Bakery Masterclass! 🥐 Our Year 10 Food & Cookery students enjoyed an incredible experience this week thanks to the fantastic team at Birds Bakery @BirdsBakery. We are extremely grateful for their generosity in coming into school to deliver a bakery masterclass that truly brought our curriculum to life. Students learned about the history of Birds Bakery, its place within our local heritage, and the realities of working in commercial catering, including food hygiene, professional standards, and career opportunities within the industry. The highlight of the day was getting hands-on with expert guidance to create some of Birds Bakery’s most popular products, including sausage rolls, pain au chocolat, and croissants. The session was engaging, energetic, and inspiring. Our students left with new skills, greater confidence, and a deeper understanding of the exciting opportunities available in bakery and food production. Experiences like these have a lasting impact, and we cannot thank the Birds Bakery team enough for providing such a valuable opportunity. We look forward to welcoming them back in the future. A truly brilliant day that our students will remember for years to come! #BirdsBakery#FoodAndCookery#CareersEducation#HandsOnLearning#Year10#BakingSkills#FoodEducation#InspiringFutures#ProudSchool#EmployerEngagement 🥐👩🍳👨🍳✨ ...
