⚽🏆 National School Sports Week – KS3 Girls Football Tournament 🏆⚽ On Tuesday 7th July, our KS3 Girls Football Team took part in an inter-school tournament hosted by our partners at EFD Coaching and Mentoring, competing against schools from across the country in challenging hot conditions. The girls delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 2nd in their group with goals shared across the team, showcasing their talent, determination and teamwork throughout the day. Their fantastic team spirit helped them progress to the quarter-finals, where they narrowly missed out on a place in the next round after an agonising penalty shootout defeat to the eventual tournament winners, John Port. A huge congratulations to every student who took part and represented Lees Brook so brilliantly. We are incredibly proud of your effort, resilience and sportsmanship! 👏💙 #NationalSchoolSportsWeek#leesbrookschool#GirlsFootball#teamwork#proudtobeleesbrook#SchoolSport#efdcoachingandmentoring ⚽💙🏅 ... 📚💚 Junior Book Club Shines at the Will Garvey Foundation Trust School's Wellbeing Conference 2026 💚📚 On Tuesday 1st July, members of our Junior Book Club attended the Will Garvey Foundation Trust School's Wellbeing Conference at Breadsall Priory. Students enjoyed inspiring presentations from author and therapist Julian Sedgwick and wellbeing advocate Becky Goddard-Hill, who shared valuable insights on supporting our own mental health and the wellbeing of others. Our talented students also took to the stage to deliver their own presentation, exploring characters from The Illustrated Mum by Jacqueline Wilson and discussing how they could benefit from the school's wellbeing library. Their creativity, confidence and presentation skills impressed everyone in attendance, and we couldn't be prouder of how brilliantly they represented our school. 👏 Well done, Junior Book Club! We are incredibly proud of you all. #WellbeingConference#JuniorBookClub#ReadingForWellbeing#StudentVoice#ProudSchool#MentalHealthMatters 📖✨ ... See MoreSee Less
