What an incredible day we had on 16th April 2026! 🎉 Our students were invited to a special celebration event at Pride Park Stadium after successfully completing the Switching Formations Programme, delivered by Derby County Community Trust and they truly made the most of it. Throughout the day, students took part in a range of engaging activities, including a guided stadium tour, a Gambling and Gaming Workshop, a powerful Youth Lived Experience Talk, a game of football, and a fantastic meet and greet with a second-year scholarship player: Braidy Connell-Webster. It was a day full of learning, reflection, and well-deserved celebration. We are extremely proud of all the students for their commitment and effort in completing the programme. Congratulations to each and every one of you for this fantastic achievement a brilliant way to celebrate your success! 👏⚽ ... See MoreSee Less
Our last day in China! We cannot believe it is already over! Our students have had a truly once in a lifetime opportunity to not only visit China, but visit Chinese schools. We then visited the beautiful Yu Gardens and had one final opportunity for students to shop, this time learning the art getting the best price Apprentice-style! We topped off the week returning to the Bund to see the skyscrapers lit up for the night. What a beautiful way to end the week. Every single student has taken so much from the trip and has been an absolute credit to themselves, and Lees Brook. As teachers, we are incredibly proud. ... See MoreSee Less

We rounded out the school exchange with stunning performances and our final gift exchanges. Finally, we visited the Anhui Youth Science and Technology Centre, experiencing interactive activities all linked to space. Tomorrow we return to Shanghai via the bullet train for our final day in China! 🇨🇳 🚆 ... See MoreSee Less
